Job summary

Tradesmen International is hiring experienced Sheet Metal Mechanics for projects around Grand Rapids, MI. This first shift role offers up to $35/hour based on experience and skill level, with opportunities to work alongside craftspeople who emphasize safety and craftsmanship.

Applicants should have at least 2 years of sheet metal or HVAC duct installation experience and be able to measure, cut, and assemble ductwork using hand and power tools. No certifications required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in sheet metal or HVAC duct installation.
• Apprentice and Journeyman levels are encouraged to apply.
• Ability to measure, cut and assemble ductwork accurately.
• Experience with hand and power tools.
• Reliable, safety-conscious and able to work independently or with a team.
• No certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Install and assemble rectangular HVAC sheet metal ductwork.
• Measure, mark, and cut duct sections to required dimensions.
• Drill holes in sheet metal and prep components for installation.
• Fasten seams and joints using screws and approved methods.
• Install and secure duct systems per project specifications.
• Perform additional sheet metal duties as directed.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Sheet Metal Mechanics for projects located in or around Grand Rapids, MI. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $35/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:

• Install and assemble rectangular HVAC sheet metal ductwork
• Measure, mark, and cut duct sections to required dimensions
• Drill holes in sheet metal and prepare components for installation

• Install and secure duct systems according to project specifications
• Perform additional sheet metal duties as directed
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment

Requirements:
