Job summary

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Sheet Metal Mechanics for projects in and around Grand Rapids, MI. This first shift opportunity offers pay up to $35/hour based on experience and skill level, with potential for growth across our strong safety and craftsmanship culture.

Duties include installing and assembling rectangular HVAC ductwork, measuring and cutting to spec, drilling holes, fastening seams, and securing duct systems per project plans.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of sheet metal or HVAC duct installation experience.
• Apprentice and Journeyman-level candidates encouraged to apply.
• Ability to accurately measure, cut, and assemble ductwork.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• No certifications required.
