Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating materials and production schedules.
• Ability to read blueprints and measure with tape, calipers, micrometers.
• Strong problem solving, analytical and mathematical skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and operate lift equipment.
• Commitment to 40-hour week with overtime possibilities.
• Safe work practices and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation of all equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment following procedures.
• Coordinate with materials/procurement to obtain manufacturing orders.
• Validate sheet metal inventory and ensure material availability.
• Ensure correct material delivery to the work center.
• Monitor machines and coordinate with maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Ensure nesting programs meet the schedule.
• Verify parts through QC inspections after machining.
• Track completion of work orders and staging.
• Implement ISO/SMED/PQVC processes.
• Complete assignments on time and accurately.
• Maintain equipment and lift devices in good condition.
