Job summary

ARCO Innovations is seeking a maintenance technician to diagnose and repair sheet metal and fabricating machinery. The role includes servicing customer machines, refurbishing equipment, and performing preventative maintenance in a shop or field setting.

Candidate must have a one year certificate or 6–12 months related experience and be able to travel as needed. Manufacturer certifications are required to perform service work on equipment.

Qualifications

• One year certificate from college or technical school; or six to twelve months related experience and/or training.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses functional problems with sheet metal machinery and metal fabricating machinery.
• Purchases new replacement parts for machinery.
• Fabricates miscellaneous components for machinery.
• Cleans machinery using pressure washer, steam cleaner, or parts degreaser.
• Observes all company safety practices including protective hearing and eyewear.
• Performs maintenance repairs on customers’ machines and shop equipment.
• Refurbishes metal fabrication machinery to proper specs.
• Utilizes tools in a safe and efficient manner.
• Presents a professional image to customers as necessary.
• Required to travel, as needed.
