Horizon is looking for a motivated individual to work in a fast-paced, physical work environment. Employees are required to communicate with their superintendent to complete the daily project goals. Communication is key in this industry and includes listening, speaking, and writing. Working on the top of the world most days is priceless; however, you must be able to get there. Climbing ladders and working at heights is an absolute must. Employees must have the ability to perform assigned tasks daily with strong attention to detail.

This role requires above-average attention to detail, concern for the correctness of work, and a strong commitment to completing tasks on time. The person in this role will take work seriously, have a strong sense of duty, and be disciplined. You must have stayed awake in geometry class for at least one year.

Additional Requirements:

• Knowledge of Safety/OSHA guidelines
• Ability to problem-solve
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites and/or the shop
• Ability to climb ladders; capable of lifting 50 lbs or more
• Reliability and enjoyment of working outdoors in various climates; no fear of heights

Transportation: This position is based in Waite Park, but job sites vary across the Twin Cities and Minnesota. Some out-of-town work may be required. Employees are responsible for their own transportation. Ask about our Wheels for Workers program if needed.
