Job summary

Harper Limbach is seeking a skilled sheet metal fabricator to fabricate, assemble, install, and repair sheet metal products in the Boynton Beach area. You may oversee a small crew while ensuring project quality and safety on a live construction site.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, operating plasma and welding equipment, and coordinating with teams to pre-plan work and maintain safety standards.

Qualifications

• The role fabricates, assembles, installs and repairs sheet metal products.
• May oversee and direct the work of a small group of laborers.
• Reviews blueprints and specs to determine work sequence and safe procedures.
• Completes all AHA's and daily huddles, and pre-plans work for safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Shears, forms, handles, bends, and welds sheet metal during fabrication.
• Operates plasma machines, press brakes, welding machines and other hand tools.
• Loads/unloads materials to sites and stages for installation.
• Hangs steel supports to hold ducts in place on joists/slabs.
• Measures and marks dimensions on metal sheets.
• Drills holes and installs metal ducts with frames.
