Job summary

Brycon Corporation is seeking a Sheet Metal Journeyman to mentor apprentices and lead fabrication, layout, and installation of mechanical systems on our site in New Mexico. The role requires reading isometric/shop drawings, using hand/power tools, and ensuring material readiness.

• Sheet Metal Journeyman license is required.
• NCCER certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use proper hand or power tools, as needed to complete task.
• Read, understand, and draw isometric/shop drawings for fabrication.
• Ensure parts and materials are available, received, inventoried, and stored appropriately.
• Ensure all employees follow proper safety procedures and policies.
• Follow all company and job site policies, procedures, safety rules, and regulations.
• Other job duties as assigned.
• Extended hours, weekends, and holidays may be required; compensated per FLSA guidelines.

Job description

• Layout, fabricate, assemble, and install mechanical systems
• Use proper hand or power tools, as needed to complete task
• Read, understand, and draw isometric/shop drawings for fabrication
• Ensure parts and materials are available, received, inventoried, and stored appropriately
• Ensure all employees follow proper safety procedures and policies
• Follow all company and job site policies, procedures, safety rules, and regulations
• Other job duties as assigned
• Employee may be required to work extended hours (more than 8 hours per day), weekends, and holidays. Employees will be compensated based on guidelines in the Fair Labor Standards Act.
