Job summary

Brookside Heating & Cooling in Manchester, NH is seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Installer for new construction and replacement work. You will fabricate, install, and test ductwork and sheet metal components for residential HVAC systems, reading blueprints and specs to ensure accurate layouts.

This full-time role offers 40 hours per week, a 401(k) retirement plan, health and dental insurance, and a referral program.

Qualifications

• Experience in sheet metal fabrication and ductwork installation.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings and specs.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and components.
• NH Sheet Metal License preferred.
• Experience in both new construction and residential service is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, and install ductwork and sheet metal components on new HVAC systems.
• Read blueprints, drawings and specs to lay out and install systems accurately.
• Install and connect ductwork, air handlers, and HVAC equipment on new builds.
• Cross-train on residential replacement projects as needed.
• Inspect and test installed systems to confirm airflow and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with sheet metal components and duct systems.
• Work closely with install teams, project leads, and builders to keep jobs on schedule.
• Follow safety protocols and jobsite regulations.
