Job summary

ENFRA is seeking a Sheet Metal Helper to perform basic labor tasks on large commercial mechanical and plumbing construction sites in Mississippi. This Full-Time, Non-Exempt role reports to the Foreman and requires travel to job sites up to 50% of the time.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma, 1-2 years of construction experience, reliable transportation, and strong verbal and written communication skills. Plumbing/mechanical experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of construction experience.
• Must have adequate/reliable transportation to the jobsite daily.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Versed in the industry and the Company's competitors.
• Ability to multitask and perform duties outside of the scope of work when necessary.
• Plumbing & mechanical experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• General construction clean up.
• Assists in material distribution.
• Assists mechanics installing HVAC and Plumbing.
• Learns code requirements.
• Maintains a safe and secure work environment and attends safety meetings.
• Loads and unloads building materials to be used in construction.
• Operates or tends equipment and machines used.
• Follows construction plans and instructions.
