Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking a Grinding/Deburring Operator to perform precise edge-finishing on sheet metal parts. You will remove burrs and sharp edges, ensuring surfaces meet specifications and quality standards, while maintaining equipment and following safety protocols.

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to read blueprints, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment with opportunities for skill development and cross-training.

Qualifications

1+ year of grinding, deburring, or metal finishing experience preferred.
Experience in precision sheet metal fabrication is a plus.
High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform grinding, deburring, and edge-finishing using hand/power tools and automated equipment.
Remove burrs and sharp edges to meet customer/industry standards and ensure smooth surfaces.
Inspect finished parts with calipers/micrometers to verify dimensional accuracy and report defects.
Maintain and clean equipment; follow safety protocols and PPE usage.
Collaborate with operators, welders, and inspectors to meet production goals and assist in material handling.
