Job summary

Anchor Fabrication, LLC is seeking a Sheet Metal Forming Cell Operator to run a fabrication cell performing sawing, bending, welding and milling to produce jamb components. You will set up jobs, exchange dies, and adjust machine tension while maintaining strict quality standards.

The role requires reading blueprints, using precision tools, and safe operation of saws, presses, welders and mills. teamwork and adaptability are essential in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience in metal forming and manufacturing environments is valued.
• Comfort with precision measurement and shop safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Run a fabrication cell performing sawing, bending, welding, and milling to produce jamb components.
• Set up each job: review job packet, set angles and stops, exchange dies, and adjust machine tension.
• Operate saws, press brakes, welding equipment, and mills safely and efficiently.
• Verify part quality against specifications using precision measuring instruments.
• Troubleshoot issues and partner with the supervisor and quality control as needed.
• Apply FIFO material rotation and consider metal hardness factors in planning and execution.
• Contribute across departments when priorities shift.
