Job summary

Farrell Roofing in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Sheet Metal Foreman to lead field operations on commercial roofing projects. You will take measurements, plan fabrication and installation layouts, and oversee fabrication tasks on site.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years as a Sheet Metal Journeyman/Foreman with a roofing contractor and holds OSHA 10 or 30-hour certification. Must be able to work outdoors at height and manage material inventory.

Day To Day Responsibilities

• Taking and verifying field measurements

Employment Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be eligible for employment in the United States.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• All candidates must be willing to join union or are currently union members.

Physical And Mental Requirements

• Must be able to work at heights.
• Regular lifting up to 75 lbs.
• Must understand general arithmetic and read and write English at a high school level.
• Must be able to perform coordinated movements of the limbs including walking, turning, stooping, reaching, carrying, stepping over and around obstacles, and climbing ladders and scaffolding.
• Must be able to sit, stand, or kneel for extended periods of time.

Work Environment

• Work is conducted in a construction environment. The occupant of this role will be required to be primarily outdoors and will be working in and around potentially dangerous construction equipment and materials.
