Job summary

Mestek-Inc in Westfield, Massachusetts is seeking a Residential Products Fabricator to set up and operate sheet metal fabrication equipment for stamping and forming aluminum and steel.

You will read work orders and part prints, use calipers, micrometers and hand tools, and help move finished products using lift equipment, while maintaining safety and quality records. The role requires lifting 50 pounds regularly and experience with a Punch Press and/or Louver.

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred.
• Ability to read, write and follow instructions.
• Familiarity with manufacturing machinery and measuring tools.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly.
• Experience with Punch Press and/or Louver preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate sheet metal fabricating machinery, including Punch Press and Louver.
• Perform production duties from Work Orders and Part Prints.
• Utilize calipers, micrometers, rules and other measuring tools; document results.
• Inspect and prepare products, report defects to supervision and adjust machines as directed.
• Move materials using lift or platform trucks; maintain safety and quality records.
• Keep work area neat, orderly and safe; perform related duties as required.
