Tel-X Corporation is a leading prototype & production manufacturing company, specializing in CNC and Sheet Metal work. We are looking for a Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our team.

Do not apply unless you have at least 5 years of experience working in a manufacturing company that makes parts for various industries such as automotive.

Our ideal candidate has completed a training program through an industry apprenticeship or has at least 5 years of manufacturing experience in a machine shop. Knowledge of welding (MIG & TIG) is a plus.

Required Skills:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in metal working.
• Ability to read and interpret simple and complex engineering blueprints accurately.
• Proficiency in using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring equipment.
• Extensive experience with Press Breaks, Hydraulic and Mechanical Presses, and other metal forming and stamping equipment.
• Strong understanding of basic arithmetic.
• Experience deburring parts with deburr knives, grinding wheels, etc.
• High level of organization and discipline.
• Desire to continually learn and develop technical skills.
• Strong mechanical skills and aptitude.
• Focus on quality and accuracy.
• Own tools required.

Desired Skills:

• Welding of ferrous and non-ferrous metals with MIG & TIG welding machines.
• Spot welding knowledge.
• Operating a manual mill and lathe.
