Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Torrance, CA seeks an experienced sheet metal fabricator to deliver high‑quality metal components that meet engineering specs and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sheet metal fabrication experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings for sheet metal work.
• Familiarity with industry standards and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal parts using hand tools, power tools, and machinery.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to measure, cut, bend, and shape sheet metal.
• Perform quality inspections on finished products to ensure compliance with standards and customer requirements.
• Maintain and operate sheet metal equipment safely and efficiently, performing routine maintenance as needed.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve fabrication issues and improve processes.
• Proven experience in sheet metal fabrication, including cutting, bending, and assembling metal components.
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications related to sheet metal work.
• Proficiency in operating sheet metal tools and machinery such as shears, brakes, and rollers.
• Knowledge of quality control procedures and inspection techniques to ensure product compliance.
• Understanding of safety protocols and best practices in sheet metal fabrication environments.
