Job summary

O'Donnell Metal Fabricators in Norristown, PA is seeking a Level 2 Sheet Metal Fabricator (Intermediate) with 2–4 years of shop experience. You will work with sheet metal, read basic drawings, and contribute to a fast, precision-focused team.

We're Hiring: Sheet Metal Fabricator – Level 2 (Intermediate)

Location: Norristown, PA | Pay: $26–$30/hour | Full-Time

Position Summary:

We’re looking for a Level 2 Sheet Metal Fabricator (Intermediate) with 2–4 years of shop experience. You should be confident with tools, machinery, and basic drawings—and hungry to keep improving. This role is ideal for someone ready to move toward leadership with time and experience.

What You’ll Do:

• Operate machinery like press brakes, shears, and layout tables

• Perform MIG welding and assist with TIG work

• Read and execute basic work orders and drawings

• Support shop production, safety, and team collaboration

Working Conditions & Physical Demands:

This position operates in a fabrication shop environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving machinery, metalworking tools, airborne particles, heat, and noise associated with fabrication equipment. Proper PPE (personal protective equipment) is provided and required.

Expect to:

• Stand, walk, and bend for extended periods

• Lift and handle materials up to 50 lbs

• Use hand/power tools and operate shop equipment

• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE at all times
