Ductwork Sheet Metal Fabricator – HVAC
Oliver Heating & Cooling (Morton, PA) – Immediate Opening

Oliver Heating & Cooling is seeking a skilled and experienced Ductwork Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and manufacturing custom HVAC ductwork for residential and light commercial heating and cooling systems. This is a hands-on position that requires precision, attention to detail, and expertise in sheet metal fabrication techniques.

Responsibilities:

  • Cut sheet metal using tools like power saws, shears, plasma cutter and CNC machines.
  • Measure and mark out cutting and bending lines.
  • Setting up metalwork machinery including rollers, drill presses, plasma torch, brakes, and shears.
  • Double-checking design specifications before commencing cutting work.
  • Fabricating and constructing metal components.
  • Maintenance of shop to keep a clean and safe work environment.
Qualifications

  • Comply with all applicable standards, policies, or procedures, such as PPE, safety procedures and/or the maintenance of a clean work area
  • This position requires using computer skills, dexterity and math skills
  • Strong attention to detail

Working Conditions:

Environment:

  • May drive a company vehicle at times.
  • Working onsite in the company’s sheet metal shop.
  • Regular interruptions.
  • Department meetings/training.
  • Occasional out-of-department work when needed.

Physical Demands: This position requires a range of physical abilities consisting of:

  • Bending at the waist, kneeling or crouching, squatting, crawling; heights, ascend/descend ladder, climb or balance.
  • Eyesight corrected or uncorrected sufficient to read a variety of materials including but not limited to fine print.
  • Hearing with or without use of hearing aid(s) sufficient to hear any conversation with others; understandable voice and speech patterns.
  • Manual dexterity and coordination sufficient to operate tools and equipment of the trade.
