The position offers growth into a management role for the right candidate, requires 3+ years of fabrication experience, and involves reading drawings, operating plasma and fabrication equipment, and maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in sheet metal fabrication or a related manufacturing role.
• Proficiency with fabrication equipment such as press brakes, shears, and CNC machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret duct drawings.
• Experience with welding techniques (MIG, TIG, or spot welding) is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Ability to use precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate plasma machine.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, and work orders to fabricate sheet metal components.
• Operate fabrication equipment including shears, press brakes, rollers, and punch presses.
• Measure, cut, bend, and shape sheet metal to specified dimensions and tolerances.
• Perform MIG, TIG, or spot welding as required for assembly and fabrication.
• Inspect finished parts for quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications.
• Maintain and perform routine maintenance on fabrication machinery and tools.
• Follow all shop safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
