Position Overview

Located in Fontana, CA, the Sheet Metal Assembler reports to the Production Manager and is responsible for assembling fabricated metal parts for enclosure buildings according to specifications.

Key Responsibilities

1. Review blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions to assemble enclosure components.
2. Assemble sheet metal panels for doors, walls, roofs, and trusses of enclosure buildings.
3. Utilize power tools and hand tools such as drills, impacts, screwdrivers, and grinders.
4. Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet standards.
5. Identify and report product defects.
6. Maintain inventory of supplies, tools, and parts.
7. Keep the work area clean and safe.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience, preferably in manufacturing or assembly.
• Experience operating powered equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, or cranes.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and written instructions.
• Basic math skills and familiarity with tools.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.
