Landscape Structures Inc. is seeking a Sheet Laser Operator in Delano, MN to operate tube and sheet lasers and produce a variety of metal parts.

The role runs Monday through Friday, 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM, with a starting hourly range of $22.00 to $27.00 depending on qualifications. The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of laser-related machining experience, blueprints literacy, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Aufgaben

• Operate tube laser and/or sheet laser to produce metal parts according to work instructions and drawings.
• Fabricate components from stainless steel, galvanized steel, aluminum, and mild steel as required.
• Operate laser, metal finishing equipment, and CNC press brake accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain quality standards and inspect work pieces.
• Read blue prints, measure with tape and calipers, and follow written instructions.
• Understand nesting software and sheet laser operation.

POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for the operation of the tube laser and/or Sheetmetal laser. With the use of work instructions and drawings the laser operator will accurately and efficiently produce a wide variety of metal parts.

Hours: M-F, 5:00 A.M. - 1:30 P.M.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Produces fabricated parts by following work instructions with the aid of nesting software.
• Has the ability to fabricate components made of stainless, galvanized, aluminum & mild steel.
• Can efficiently and accurately operate laser / metal finishing equipment & CNC Press brake.
• Must be conscientious with handling of product to uphold our internal quality standards
• Must understand blue prints, read a tape measure, use a caliper and follow written instructions.
• Full understanding of the use of nesting software and sheet laser operation.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with the use of nesting software preferred.
• Previous laser, CNC press brake fabrication experience and/or schooling required.
• 1+ years experience in laser related machining skills.
• Must have some understanding of metal fabrication concepts and processes.
• Must possess a keen sense of attention to detail.
• Must possess the ability to operate tape measure and calipers, hand tools.
• Must be able to determine material types and gages.
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, read a tape measure, follow written instructions.
• Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Must possess effective written and verbal communication skills.
• High school diploma/GED preferred.

The target hourly range is $22.00 - $27.00, depending upon qualifications and experience. The posted pay range reflects the expected compensation for a fully qualified candidate. Starting pay may be above or below this range based on job-related factors such as skills, experience, qualifications, and training needs.

In addition to hourly pay, the compensation package also includes eligibility for profit-sharing and monthly bonus opportunity.
