Position Summary

This position is responsible for the operation of the tube laser and/or sheet‑metal laser. With the use of work instructions and drawings the laser operator will accurately and efficiently produce a wide variety of metal parts.

Hours: M–Th, 1:30 P.M. – 12:00 A.M.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Produce fabricated parts by following work instructions with the aid of nesting software.
• Fabricate components made of stainless, galvanized, aluminum & mild steel.
• Efficiently and accurately operate laser/metal finishing equipment & CNC press brake.
• Handle products conscientiously to uphold internal quality standards.
• Understand blueprints, read a tape measure, use a caliper, and follow written instructions.
• Have full understanding of the use of nesting software and sheet‑laser operation.

Compensation and Benefits

The target hourly range is $22.00 – $27.00, depending upon qualifications and experience. This position qualifies for a shift differential of $3.00 per hour. The posted pay range reflects the expected compensation for a fully qualified candidate. Starting pay may be above or below this range based on job‑related factors such as skills, experience, qualifications, and training needs.

In addition to hourly pay, the compensation package also includes eligibility for profit‑sharing and monthly bonus opportunity.
