Job summary

Allied Plastics in Twin Lakes, Wisconsin is seeking an experienced Sheet Extrusion Production Supervisor to lead the sheet extrusion department on a hands-on basis. You will coach, train, and support a manufacturing team to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals.

In this role you will review production schedules, assign daily work, monitor extrusion rates and scrap, troubleshoot equipment, and maintain accurate documentation.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret production documents, work orders, safety rules, operating instructions, and quality procedures.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to work in a hands-on manufacturing environment and provide support outside regular hours when necessary.
  • Experience with ISO quality systems, 5S, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, train, and support employees within the sheet extrusion department.
  • Assign daily work and ensure production priorities and performance expectations are understood.
  • Monitor extrusion rates, setup times, production output, material usage, and scrap.
  • Troubleshoot sheet extrusion equipment and process issues; coordinate support as needed.
  • Review production schedules and determine staffing, equipment, and material needs.
  • Maintain compliance with quality standards, ISO procedures, and work-order requirements.
  • Enforce safety policies and participate in the Safety Committee.
  • Maintain a clean, safe work environment using 5S principles.
  • Prepare and verify piece approvals and quality documentation.
  • Assist with production scheduling, inventory, and department operations when needed.

Drive Production.Allied Plastics is seeking an experienced Sheet Extrusion Production Supervisor to lead employees and daily operations within our growing sheet extrusion department.This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who understands manufacturing operations, knows how to develop a strong team, and can balance safety, quality, productivity, and employee accountability.
