Job summary

Shaw Industries Group, Inc. is seeking Shaw Sports Turf Travel Turf Installers for full-time, travel-based work. You will install and remove turf per specs, operate equipment, and maintain quality and safety on diverse sites.

The position requires 8-hour non-rotating shifts with significant out-of-state travel (approximately 300 days/90%). Must have a valid driver’s license, be able to lift 80+ lbs, and communicate effectively. Per diem benefits are provided.

Job Title Shaw Sports Turf | Travel Installer

Position Overview Shaw Sports Turf is looking for skilled individuals to fill full-time synthetic TRAVEL Turf Installer roles. Shaw Sports Turf is a division of Shaw Industries, the world’s largest carpet producer and wholly owned subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway Inc., a leading Fortune 500 Company. As a Shaw Sports Turf crew member, you are a critical part of our Operations Team. It is you who are helping to fulfil our mission of redefining the synthetic sports turf industry. Primary Duty:

Ensure the Shaw Sports Turf installation process and finished products meet or exceed standards, while maintaining customer satisfaction and effective communication throughout the process.

As a crew member, you will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

• Installation, and removal of artificial turf materials according to manufacturer's specifications, blueprints, and job specifications. (Onsite training provided)
• Utilize machinery (laymore, spreader, rollers, blowers, skid steers,etc.) to complete projects in a professional, timely, and clean manner.
• Maintain and cultivate positive working relationships with other crew members and learn from some of the most knowledgeable turf installers in the world.
• Help management maintain best practices for a safe and rewarding work environment
• Achieve and maintain project goals set by Project Managers and executive team(s).
• Desire to be part of a fast-growing, dedicated company with a family atmosphere.
• Maintain confidentiality on all issues pertaining to Shaw Industries.
• Work Shift 8 Hr non-rotating shift, Hrs fall to in punch day, Observed Calendar, shift starts AM

Required:

• Valid Driver's license
• Valid ID: Required for Traveling Out-of-State travel by airplane often required for extended periods approximately 300 days/90% (paid by Shaw)
• Ability to lift, carry, pull, push, or drag materials in excess of 80 lbs.
• Ability to bend and kneel for extended periods of time throughout the workday.
• Good organizational and communication skills
• Able to work in a variety of weather conditions (hot, cold, humid, or windy conditions)

Compensation: Starting pay rate: $20.00 $45.00 Per diem
