Job Overview

Prepare food items according to production requirements and quality standards while maintaining a safe, sanitary work environment.

Reports To

Executive Chef / Sous Chef

Essential Job Functions
  1. Prepare food of consistent quality following recipes and standards, based on server checks.
  2. Start pre-prepared food items, avoiding overproduction.
  3. Label and rotate perishables, ensuring proper storage temperatures.
  4. Check inventory levels, prepare necessary ingredients, and assist with buffet stock.
  5. Store unused food properly, covering and dating perishables.
  6. Help manage food costs, waste, and usage according to Crescent standards.
  7. Operate and clean kitchen equipment such as fryers, grills, ovens, and food processors.
  8. Follow attendance policies and be available to work regularly.
  9. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Abilities

Ability to communicate in English, maintain professionalism, and work well with guests and team members. Dexterity to operate food machinery and lift up to 100 lbs. Flexibility to work variable schedules, 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week.
