Job summary

SAIC is seeking a SharePoint Web Application Developer to support First Army Headquarters at Rock Island Arsenal, IL. You will develop web applications, front-end interfaces, scripts, and data integrations to enhance information sharing and operational effectiveness across the command.

The role requires strong front-end skills, SharePoint development experience, and the ability to translate operational needs into technical implementations on the Army Vantage platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience; 4 years can substitute.
• Required active Secret clearance; US Citizenship required.
• 4+ years in software or web development, programming, scripting, database queries.
• Proficiency with JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with SharePoint 2019/Online.
• Experience creating dashboards or data-driven visualizations.
• Knowledge of REST APIs and integrating external data sources.
• Experience with data platforms such as Palantir Foundry or Army Vantage.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing command solutions and identify modernization opportunities.
• Gather and refine technical requirements with users and stakeholders.
• Develop responsive front-end interfaces, dashboards, and SharePoint components for 2019/Online and Army Vantage.
• Build custom SharePoint applications using client-side development and REST APIs.
• Develop front-end scripts to improve user experience and automate tasks.
• Configure SharePoint lists/libraries and site structures to support workflows.
• Develop data-driven solutions using SQL, Python, and PySpark as needed.
• Collaborate with KM staff to translate needs into technical implementations.
