Job summary

North Point Technology is seeking a Senior SharePoint Developer for Fort Belvoir, VA. The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph and involves developing SharePoint solutions, web parts, and workflows in a Microsoft-oriented enterprise environment.

You will mentor junior staff, follow SDLC/Agile/SCRUM/Lean practices, and perform comprehensive testing across multiple layers while collaborating with stakeholders to deliver customer-focused results.

Qualifications

• Eight years of SharePoint development experience including customized code and web parts
• Five years of SDLC/Agile/SCRUM/Lean experience
• Five years mentoring junior personnel
• Five years documenting defects with a bug tracking system
• Five years with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery
• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph ability to obtain additional clearances
• DoD 8570.1-M IAT Level II certification

Responsibilities

• Provide SharePoint development support including customized code and web parts/workflows
• Develop and test applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery
• Perform various testing (Unit, System, Functional, UAT)
• Adhere to SDLC, Agile, SCRUM, Lean methodologies
• Mentor junior personnel on best practices
• Document defects in bug tracking system and report to developers/project managers
• Collaborate with peers to ensure solutions meet customer requirements
• Support deployment of SharePoint apps across networks

SharePoint Developer – Senior Position / LCAT: SharePoint Developer Level: Senior Lead Designation: N/A Location: Fort Belvoir, VA

Role Summary

Provides SharePoint development support including customized code, creating and modifying web parts, and creating and modifying SharePoint workflows. Develops and tests applications within a Microsoft-oriented enterprise environment, mentors junior personnel, and documents software defects using a bug tracking system. Adheres to Software Development Life Cycle processes including SDLC, Agile, SCRUM, and Lean methodologies.

Required Qualifications

• Five years of experience with Software Development Life Cycle Process (may include SDLC, Agile, SCRUM, Lean, etc.)
• Five years of experience mentoring junior personnel on proper practices and procedures
• Five years of experience documenting software defects using a bug tracking system and reporting defects to software developers and project managers
• Five years of experience with software development Unit Testing, System Testing, Functional Testing, User Acceptance Testing, or other development testing experience
• Five years of experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery
• TS/SCI clearance with SBI and ability to attain SI, TK, G, HCS, and NATO Secret clearance
• DoD 8570.1-M IAT Level II certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing SharePoint solutions in a DoD or IC environment
• Experience with Microsoft .NET Framework and IIS for Windows Server
