Job summary

OBXtek is hiring a SharePoint Administrator IV to support and manage the program’s SharePoint environment. Responsibilities include backup, site creation, training, patching, upgrades, monitoring, and troubleshooting, leveraging Microsoft 365 with Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate.

The role requires a seasoned SharePoint professional with 9+ years of experience, strong governance skills, and the ability to lead migrations and integration efforts in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, programming or equivalent experience.
• 9 years of Microsoft SharePoint work experience including site creation and administration.
• Advanced knowledge of HTML, C#, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, REST API, .NET, VS, SPFX, Node.js/React.
• Advanced knowledge of Windows OS, SQL Server, Power Apps, and Office 365.
• Experience building Power BI dashboards and data visualizations.
• Microsoft 365 Certification preferred.
• Experience integrating SharePoint with external data sources.

Responsibilities

OBXtek is currently hiring a SharePoint Administrator IV who is responsible for supporting and managing the program’s SharePoint environment by performing Tier I administrative support activities of backup, site creation, user training, patching, upgrades, daily monitoring, and troubleshooting. This position leverages the integration of Microsoft 365 applications (to include Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, etc.) with SharePoint to increase efficiency and develop new processes. The incumbent exercises independent judgment, requires general direction and infrequent supervision to navigate the established program policies and procedures.

Major Duties:

• Designs and implements automation solutions by using SharePoint out-of-the-box solutions to automate business processes using MS Office 365 out-of-the-box, Power Apps, Power Automate and Power Platform capabilities;


• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into customized solutions to within specified timetables by designing and developing Power BI dashboards and custom solutions;


• Develops technical guides, training, and other reference materials to implement strategies on site design and navigation to drive user adoption;


• Leads the planning and execution of tasks related to SharePoint based initiatives (migrations, upgrades, third-party solutions, integration with additional enterprise systems, and/or hosted platforms);


• Manages every facet of the organization SharePoint environment to include performing system administrative activities, creating site collection policies to configure and manages the environment, and implementing SharePoint Governance and standardization;


• Serves as the SharePoint Subject Matter Expert (SME) to advise on processes and procedures where SharePoint could be leveraged;


• Leads project development, including design, creation, maintenance, and customizing SharePoint solutions by using agency-approved software to develop, update, maintain, and test customized solutions.

Qualifications

Professional Qualifications/Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, programming or equivalent experience related degree from an accrediting institution to be credited towards qualifications. Years of experience may be substituted for formal education;


• Nine (9) years of Microsoft SharePoint work experience with utilizing site creation, user support/administration, and SharePoint Workflows;


• Advanced knowledge and experience with HTML, C# and objected oriented programming, such as JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, REST API, .NET, Visual Studio, SharePoint Designer Workflows, SPFX, Node.js React;


• Advanced knowledge level of Windows operating systems, as well as SQL Server, Power Apps, and Office 365;


• Advanced knowledge level and experience in developing workflows using MS Office 365 out-of-the-box, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Platform, dashboard, and data visualization tools capabilities to build workflows and custom solutions is required;


• Advanced knowledge level with Power BI development, including data analytics, data visualizations, and SQL;


• Microsoft 365 Certified is preferred;


• Experience in web application integration with external data resources, including SQL and Access;


• Experience working in a fast-paced collaborative team environment which required strong communication skills to frequently interact with people at all levels of the organization;


• A high attention to detail, self-starter, results driven, and ability to follow through on details is essential;


• Proficient in MS Office and excellent written and verbal communication skills;


• Knowledge of Government security operations.;


• Must be proficient in different operating systems, such as the Windows environment.
