Job summary

PTP is seeking a Senior SharePoint Developer to implement, enhance, sustain, and migrate SharePoint-based solutions on NIPRNET/SIPRNET. You will work on cloud and on-premises platforms, leveraging SP Framework, TypeScript, and Power BI to deliver portals, dashboards, and workflows.

This role requires a Secret clearance and hands-on experience with SharePoint 2016/2019 and Microsoft 365. You will collaborate in an Agile SDLC and coordinate with stakeholders to design, test, and deploy solutions,

Qualifications

Active SECRET clearance with ability to work on government networks.
Minimum 3+ years with SharePoint / Microsoft 365 and SharePoint Online.
Experience across SDLC, Agile or SCRUM methodologies.
Experience architecting SharePoint farms and migrations from 2016 to 2019.
Strong written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

Provide SharePoint design, configuration, deployment and maintenance support.
Develop software solutions by analyzing requirements and workflows.
Develop dashboards and BI artifacts using Power BI.
Build and maintain SP2013/2016 components and SP Framework web parts.
Create documentation, diagrams, and code comments for solutions.

Job Title: Senior SharePoint Developer

Job Location: Scott Air Force Base (St. Clair County, Illinois)

Salary: Competitive, Depends on Qualifications

Clearance: Secret

Purpose

Using the Project Lifecycle methodology, described below, the contractor shall implement, enhance, sustain, and/or migrate SharePoint Cloud-based and On-Premises solutions using Government / Commercial off the Shelf tools (GOTS/COTS) such as SharePoint out-of-the-box, workflows, Power Automate, databases (Access), spreadsheets (Excel), and visualization tools (Microsoft Power BI) to support customer requirements on NIPRNET and SIPRNET networks. These solutions may take the form of products such as information portals, workflows, dashboards, executive snapshots, and other formats depending on customer needs.

Responsibilities (include but not limited to)

Provide SharePoint design, configuration, deployment and maintenance support services.
Develops software solutions by studying requirements analysis and information needs; conferring with stakeholders and IT Management; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; performs software design using software development fundamentals and processes, debug, test, and deploy software solutions.
Execute within an Agile SDLC framework
Design, develop and maintain key components of the software suite using SharePoint Server 2013/2016
Client-side web part development using the SharePoint Framework using JavaScript frameworks and tools such as TypeScript
Implementation of SharePoint-based workflows as well as development of Business Intelligence dashboards
Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code
Build Proof of Concept / Early Adopter examples or graphical simulation software. Then maintain product test software and demos for training purposes
Actively participate in Product Design Reviews by providing creative and practical ideas and solutions in a teamwork environment.

Knowledge and Experience

Active SECRET clearance
5+ yrs. work experience dealing with communications/problem solving
Minimum of 3+ years of experience with SharePoint/Microsoft 365.
Experience with software development Unit Testing, System Testing, Functional Testing, User Acceptance Testing, or other development testing experience is preferred.
Experience with Software Development Life Cycle Process (may include SDLC, Agile, SCRUM, Lean, etc.)
Possess expert knowledge of SharePoint 2016, 2019 and SharePoint Online platform versions, and M365 full application suite to include but not limited Power Apps, PowerBI, PowerAutomate, TEAMS).
Hands-on experience with architecting SharePoint 2019 farms and migrating from SharePoint 2016 to SharePoint 2019.
Experience in SharePoint Development, including creating custom forms, workflows, and web parts.
Experience with SharePoint Online, including creating custom forms, tools, or reports with Power Apps, and creating workflows with Power Automate.
Ability to write or edit CSS and HTML code
Knowledge of Microsoft (MS) Office, including MS Word, PowerPoint & Power BI
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Candidates should have at least 3+ years of experience performing similar or comparable work in an environment of similar scale and complexity
Candidates must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in English equivalent to a native speaker
Candidates must possess excellent communication skills and be able to communicate efficiently and effectively
Candidates must be able to work well with clients and team members of all levels not required
Coordinate with various internal and/or external leaders to develop creative solutions, while adhering to project deadlines and budgets
Enjoys and works well collaborating with other designers and developers to achieve solid and well thought out web-based experiences
