Job summary

The Reliable Solutions Group is seeking a SharePoint and Office 365 Developer to modernize on-premises SharePoint to SharePoint Online and build cloud-based solutions. You will collaborate with architects and engineers to deliver reliable, scalable interfaces and integrations for our platform.

You’ll participate in DevOps, testing, and secure coding practices within an Agile team, contributing to projects that enhance client and internal experiences with Microsoft 365 tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of application development and implementation experience.
• 2+ years of Test-Driven Development, Unit Testing Frameworks experience.
• Expert knowledge of SharePoint 2013/2016 and SharePoint Online including design/development/maintenance of pages, lists, forms, and views.
• Experience building assets using SPFX and M365 Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI).
• Proficient with Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code for development and debugging.
• Knowledge of PowerShell and SharePoint PnP scripts.
• Understanding of SharePoint farm architecture, services, and best practices.
• Experience with SharePoint Designer and InfoPath Designer to produce assets for production.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

As a Developer/Engineer for TRSG, you will be working within a team to build and deliver initiatives that support our client and associate experiences

• The intended role for this position will be to act as a Developer, responsible for the conversion/modernization of on‑premises SharePoint solutions to SharePoint Online
• This role also includes final‑tier problem support, unit testing, build‑and‑release DevOps, change management and secure code processes for all sites and component which you help rebuild.
• All our development teams use Agile methodologies – either Kanban for support work, or Scrum for development project work.
• Participate or lead working groups in defining plans and timelines for how to convert or modernize SharePoint solutions contained in groups of related or co‑owned sites.
• Working with other technical teams who are needed to help with integration, pre‑requisites, testing, security assessments, and deployments.
• Collaborating with Sr developers, managers, architects, application system engineers to resolve questions about preferred modernization/conversion approach.
• Coordinating code testing efforts with multiple testing teams; coordinate with other groups to plan and schedule code releases.
• Maintain awareness of other SharePoint development efforts within the company and creating synergies where appropriate.
• Perform solution testing providing technical quality assurance.
• Ensure development policies, procedures, and guidelines are established and followed.
• Act as an escalation point for production troubleshooting, resolution, or guidance.

Qualifications:

You are a digitally savvy strategic thinker with a passion for delivering amazing customer experiences and building latest technology solutions

• 5+ years of application development and implementation experience.
• 2+ years of Test‑Driven Development, Unit Testing Frameworks experience.
• Possesses expert knowledge of SharePoint 2013/2016 and SharePoint Online including the ability to design, develop, implement, and maintain custom pages, lists, forms, and views.
• Demonstrated knowledge of building assets using SPFX and the M365 Power Platform – Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI to produce assets used in the production environment, used to assist with important business processes or operations.
• Fully proficient using Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code for application development and debugging.
• Competency writing PowerShell and SharePoint PnP scripts.
• Understanding of SharePoint farm architecture, services, features, site design, and best practices.
• Experience using SharePoint Designer and InfoPath Designer to produce assets used in production environment, used to assist with important business processes or operations.
• Experience creating reports and dashboards with Excel Services and with SSRS.
• Experience integrating and extending both SP Online (M365) and SP2016/2013.
• Strong knowledge of SharePoint APIs, Graph API, and all SharePoint platforms’ extensibility options.
• 2+ years of experience with MS Azure cloud computing technology.
• Working knowledge of Agile methodologies.
