Job summary

NANA is seeking a Shareholder Relations Coordinator to advance the placement and career development of our shareholders, in line with NANA’s mission and shareholder hire preference policy.

You will work closely with shareholders to prepare for employment, coordinate with the Shareholder Records department, assist with resumes, input data, and report progress while traveling as needed.

Strong communication, confidentiality, and the ability to work with multiple programs and partners are essential.

Qualifications

  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience in administrative, recruitment, and/or workforce development.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic office software.
  • Strong oral and written communication and confidentiality.
  • Ability to travel as needed and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Counsel shareholders to prepare for employment that fits their needs.
  • Coordinate forms with Shareholder Records for shareholder assistance.
  • Assist shareholders in creating and updating profiles and resumes.
  • Provide reports from databases supporting shareholder employment and development.
  • Develop a matrix and accountability tool for shareholder hire goals.
  • Collaborate with universities and schools to identify developmental programs.
  • Follow up on assigned responsibilities to ensure goals are met.
  • Willing to travel as needed.
  • Provide administrative support and encourage elder participation in the local elders’ council.
  • Conduct youth outreach to prepare students for successful futures.
  • Maintain access to scholarships and services for shareholders.
  • Maintain an open, welcoming office and manage supplies and facilities.
  • Report to Shareholder Relations Coordinator Director.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

This position carries out those programs and activities that advance the placement and career development of NANA shareholders.

Essential Duties:

  • Works closely and effectively with shareholders in assisting and counseling them to become prepared and qualified for employment that best suits their employment/career needs.
  • Coordinates with the Shareholder Records department on all required forms as necessary for shareholder assistance.

Qualifications
  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
  • At least 3 year’s relevant work experience to include administrative, recruitment and/or workforce development. Equivalent education, training, or similar experience may be substituted for relevant experience.
  • Basic office computer and software skills, preferred proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Must be proficient in oral and written communications, interpersonal and listening skills.
  • Mustbe able to become UA certified within 3 monthsof hire.
  • Ability to analyze and problem solve.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Must operate in a strict climate of confidentiality and discretion.
  • An individual who has worked effectively with minimum supervision.
  • Previous experience working with youth and/or adults one-on-one or in group settings is preferred.

  • The position requires reading, detailed work, problem solving, interactions with other companies including other NANA companies, reasoning, math, language, presentations, verbal and written communication, analytical reasoning, will require the employee in the position to manage multiple concurrent tasks, and handle constant interruptions.

Environment and Physical Activity

The employee is regularly required to sit, talk, and hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. The employee may be exposed to outside harsh weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet. Must be able to extensively travel and work in non-urban areas using many different means of transportation. Incumbent must be able to work in less than ideal offices, facilities, or situations.
