Job summary

Nonotuck Resource Associates, Inc. seeks well-balanced caregivers to share their home with a person with disabilities. You will help with daily activities, health and wellness, and encourage community participation in a shared living setting.

Stipend rates are linked to assessed needs and state approval, with 18–21 levels by special application. Training is available, and CORI/National Fingerprint checks are required for caregivers and families.

Qualifications

• No previous caregiving experience required.
• Caring and patient attitude toward people with disabilities.
• Willingness to live in shared housing or move to a suitable home.

Range = $27,618 to $96,677 annually *

*Range above represents difficulty of care payments paid to a caregiver for providing personal care services to an eligible person residing either in the caregiver’s home or in the person’s own home. Stipend rates are contingent upon assessed needs of the person and subject to state approval. Stipend levels 18 through 21 are available only by special application to the purchasing governmental unit. Nonotuck is seeking well-balanced caregivers to share their home and life with a person with disabilities. The caregiver(s) helps the person with their daily activities, health, wellness, encourages community participation, and promotes a safe and meaningful lifestyle.

Positions available in: Lawrence, Lowell, Lynn, Dracut, Andover, North Andover, Haverhill, Tewksbury, Chelmsford, Billerica, Harvard, Acton, Concord, Ayer, Burlington, Danvers, Middlesex County, Essex County, Methuen.

Beyond providing care, the shared living caregiver will develop a meaningful relationship with the person they are sharing their home with. She/he/they will be a roommate and a friend, spending time together, sharing activities, and enjoying a lively and engaged life.

We will consider applicants who live in single family homes or apartments (with an extra bedroom) or are willing to move. We are looking for people who are single, couples, families, people with or without children and pets. No previous experience necessary.
