Position Summary: The hours for this position are 5:30am-2:00pm. The Shaper/Hob CNC Operator is responsible for the setup and operation of one or more assigned multi-axis CNC machine tools to produce component parts in accordance to engineering drawings, internal sketches, or other specifications provided by engineering.

  • Meeting production schedules and standard timeframes established for setup and cycle times.
  • Setup and operate a variety of CNC equipment to produce high precision coupling components using engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Performing and documenting in-process QA inspections.
  • Perform follow-up operations, such as deburring, marking, and cleaning parts as required.
  • Consistently maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Collaborate with other machinist and peers to optimize process.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma.
  • 2 years CNC operator and set up experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Proficient in using measuring tools and inspection equipment.

Physical Requirements:

  • 95% of the time on feet and running multiple machines.
  • Ability to lift up to 35lbs
  • Ability to lift over 50lbs with proper lifting devices.
  • Repetitive movement such as twisting/bending, hand gripping is required.

The pay for this role is $22.00 - $32.00/hr and is commensurate on experience and education and could pay more or less than the posted range. This full-time position is eligible for paid time off, 401k, and comprehensive benefits package including, medical, dental and vision.

This position may require access to United States export controlled technical data (“CTD”) and hardware under the Departments of US State (ITAR) and/or Commerce (EAR). Eligible candidates are; US Citizens, Green Card holders, Asylees or others eligible to receive US export license authorizations. Candidate must be authorized to work in the US.
