Qualifications

• Two years of undergraduate study (60 credits)
• Associates degree preferred
• Minimum of one year teacher assistant experience preferred
• Ability to communicate orally and in writing with proper grammar and vocabulary
• Knowledge of child growth and development and learning/motivational techniques
• Working knowledge of software and equipment for word processing, data management, information retrieval, visual presentations, and telecommunications
• Driver's license preferred

Responsibilities

• Pursue the vision and execute the mission of iLearn Schools Inc.
• Serve as a contributing member of the charter school faculty.
• Assist in maintaining effective and caring learning climate in the school.
• Assist in classroom management, parent involvement activities and with class technology.
• Provide student instructional support under the direct supervision of the classroom teacher.
• Prepare materials for class and student use.
• Demonstrate professionalism and pride in the education profession.
• Help ensure students meet and exceed the Common Core State Standards and school goals.
