Job summary

North Carolina A&T State University seeks a Part-Time Instructor for Educator Preparation to teach both introductory and advanced Education Preparation courses. The role may include face-to-face and online teaching, training sessions, academic advising, and supporting student organizations.

Responsibilities include program development and assessment, and collaborating with faculty and staff within the department and university to further educational objectives.

Qualifications

• An earned doctoral degree or master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction, or a closely related field from an accredited university.
• Minimum 1–3 years of K-12 teaching experience at the university or community college level.
• Ability to teach both face-to-face and online formats.

Responsibilities

• Teach introductory and advanced Education Preparation courses (face-to-face and/or online).
• Attend training and/or review sessions.
• Provide academic advising and support for student organizations.
• Participate in program development and assessment.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff within the department and university.
