Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in Virginia is seeking a Shake Maker to craft shakes, smoothies, and beverages with accuracy, freshness, and presentation. You will follow recipes, deliver friendly guest service, and keep a clean workstation in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service or beverage preparation preferred, but not required.
• Ability to follow standardized recipes and procedures.

• Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive beverage prep.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak periods.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

By preparing each order with accuracy, consistency, and enthusiasm, you'll help deliver memorable dining experiences while supporting a fun, fast-paced environment for both guests and fellow associates.

Pay Rate - $14/Hr.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare shakes, smoothies, and specialty beverages by following standardized recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards to ensure consistency and quality.
• Deliver exceptional guest service by greeting guests, accurately preparing orders, and creating a friendly, welcoming experience.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workstation while adhering to all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
• Stock, rotate, and replenish ingredients and supplies, monitoring product freshness and following FIFO inventory practices.
• Operate beverage preparation equipment safely and efficiently, assisting with opening, closing, cleaning, and routine maintenance duties.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations during high-volume periods while supporting other Quick Service outlets as business needs require.

WhatWe’reLooking For

• Previous experience in food service, quick service, beverage preparation, or customer service preferred, but not required.
• Ability to accurately follow standardized recipes and preparation procedures.
• Strong commitment to providing exceptional guest service in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices, or willingness to obtain required food handler certification.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform repetitive motions, including blending and beverage preparation.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak business periods.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Ability to multitask, maintain attention to detail, and thrive in a high-volume, guest-focused environment.
