Schedule: Full Time and Part Time, Days and Evenings

Working in a Green House Home offers a unique partnership opportunity for a Shahbaz/CNA in a warm, loving, and nurturing small 12-bedroom home filled with dignity, purpose, and love. You will work in partnership with our staff who believe that aging should be a continued stage of development and growth with individual choice and dignity. Your role involves creating the best life for our elders each day through close relationships, ensuring their needs are met with comfort and compassion, and working with a team on collaborative solutions.

Qualifications

• Current and Valid C.N.A. license in Rhode Island
• 1 year experience as a CNA
• Basic computer skills and ability to utilize electronic medical records
• Willingness to complete Basic First Aid and ServeSafe courses

Responsibilities

• Provide care including cooking, laundry, housekeeping, and personal care
• Assist elders with daily activities and meet their needs
• Promote high quality of life and positive elderhood
• Build close, consistent relationships with elders
• Report elder status and changes to clinical team
• Manage household functions and engage elders in meaningful activities
