International Deadline: November 10, 2025 – The Appendix Cancer PMP Research Foundation is excited to invite artists from all disciplines and skill levels to participate in the 2nd Annual Shades of Amber: Creative Contest for a Cure, a national virtual art contest in honor of Giving Tuesday!
This is your chance to express your creativity and contribute to an important cause. We are looking for original artwork inspired by the color amber, symbolizing hope, strength, and awareness for those affected by appendix cancer. Your art can be in any medium: painting, photography, drawing, digital art, or anything else that conveys the spirit of hope and awareness. Amber is the official color of appendix cancer awareness.

The top 12 entries from the 2025 contest will be featured in ACPMP’s 2027 Shades of Amber calendar, distributed nationwide as a donor premium and awareness piece. Each of the 12 featured artists will receive a free copy of the calendar. The top 12 artists from the 2024 contest will be featured in the 2026 calendar.

The Appendix Cancer PMP Research Foundation (ACPMP) is an IRS-designated 501(c)3 charitable organization (EIN: 26-2890160). The Foundation was created in 2008 by a community of individuals affected by Appendix Cancer, Pseudomyxoma Peritonei (PMP), and related Peritoneal Surface Malignancies (PSM).
The ACPMP Research Foundation is dedicated to funding and supporting research to discover new treatments for appendix cancer with the hope of one day finding a cure for all. It funds and supports educational programs for health care professionals and patients/caregivers & families to keep current with the evolving science and to increase awareness about this rare cancer.
