Job description

Rate: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour (Hourly non-exempt position) plus monthly lease bonuses

We are searching for a polished customer service, leasing, and accounting expert for our newly constructed Single-Family Rentalcommunity in DeLand, FL (near Orlando)! As the Assistant Community Manager, you report directly to our Vice President, Single Family Rentals and will be responsible for delivering a high level of customer service during the prospective resident phase and through the end of the residency. In addition to answering any questions on the leasing and application process and maintaining accurate resident accounting records, you will enhance the experience of prospective and current residents by educating them on the features of the homes and communities. Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience as an assistant manager in on-site property management (single family or multi-family).
  • Computer skills in MS Office suite, Yardi, CRM, Blue Moon, or other similar programs.
  • Excellent bookkeeping and collection skills.
  • Strong leasing, closing, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • College courses in business or real estate are a plus!
  • Florida Real Estate License is a plus!

Responsibilities

  • Answering and returning all incoming phone calls, emails, and texts from prospective and current residents.
  • Greeting prospective residents, showing homes, and securing leases.
  • Maintaining accurate resident records. Updating daily all rents, deposits, and application fees received from residents. Issuing appropriate notices when necessary (e.g., late payments, eviction notices, returned check memos).
  • Ensuring that all bank deposits are made daily, and deposits are keyed into Yardi daily.
  • Preparing S.O.D.A.’s in a timely manner so refunds can be prepared within the time frame required.
  • Preparing S.O.D.A.’s to be mailed where NO refunds are due. These are to be mailed by certified mail within the time frame required.
  • Preparing all computer reports for “End of Month” closing reports.
  • Processing Move-Ins and Move-Outs.
  • Maintaining resident records and reporting.
  • Resolvingresident complaints and assisting with reporting.
  • Performing light maintenance on homes as needed, such as rekeying locks, programming garage door openers, changing light bulbs, etc.
  • Assisting with marketing and resident satisfaction plans.
  • Performing any additional duties or tasks as assigned by the VP of Single-Family Rentals.
