Job summary

Six Flags Entertainment Corporation is seeking a Costume Technician to support daily costuming operations in a fast-paced theme park environment, operating sewing equipment and performing repairs to keep costumes stage-ready, with attention to safety during long shifts.

You will alter costumes, assist in laundering, and collaborate with team members to ensure performance readiness across nights, weekends, and holidays, while delivering friendly, guest-focused service.

Responsible for supporting daily costuming operations in a fast-paced theme park environment, including the maintenance, repair, and organization of costumes for entertainment staff—always making sure the show goes on seamlessly. Utilizes sewing machines and tools to keep every look stage-ready, while responding quickly to urgent needs and unexpected situations. Maintains a high level of safety awareness and professionalism during long, physically demanding shifts. Delivers friendly, guest-focused interactions and collaborates effectively with team members to ensure every performance is a perfect fit across nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to sit, stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods
• Strong hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and attention to detail (including color accuracy)
• Capable of standing/walking for extended shifts (up to 14 hours; 3+ miles daily)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs., including lifting items above shoulder level
