Job summary

Altus Digital, a modern digital agency, seeks a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer to join a remote-first team. You’ll craft scalable SFMC solutions, work with AMPscript/SSJS, and collaborate across marketing, architecture, and development squads.

The role emphasizes problem solving, data analysis, and maintaining high-quality code in a fast-paced environment. Ideally you bring 1–2 years SFMC experience, SFMC certifications, SQL proficiency, and API integration know‑how.

Qualifications

• 12+ months of SFMC experience in development or email marketing.
• Marketing Cloud Email Specialist or Marketing Cloud Consultant certification preferred.
• Strong SFMC knowledge: AMPscript, SSJS, WSProxy.
• SQL-based querying for segmentation and data extracts.
• REST/SOAP API experience in SFMC environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with architects to implement SFMC engagements and personalisation.
• Work with cross‑functional teams to own solutions from design to deployment.
• Design email templates and web pages using HTML/CSS/JS; AMPscript/SSJS.
• Set up campaigns, segment audiences, automate workflows with Automation Studio/Journey Builder.
• Build integrations between SFMC and third‑party platforms via APIs (REST/SOAP).
• Configure data models (data extensions) and SQL data workflows.
• Document setup and maintenance with technical guides and manuals.
• Serve as go‑to for technical decisions and remove blockers.
• Handle multiple projects in parallel and maintain coding standards.
• Continuously learn and apply best practices and new tools.
