Job summary

COOLSOFT in Lansing, MI is seeking an SFDX Aura APEX Analyst to support Salesforce development and deployment within the Michigan DTMB program. You will work on SFDX-based solutions, Aura-based components, and integration with Service/Health Cloud. The contract runs 12 months with a hybrid on-site schedule (no remote-only).

Start date is 11/6/2026; submission deadline 10/23/2026. Local candidates within 90 miles preferred.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Salesforce, including SFDX and the Salesforce Development Lifecycle.
• 6+ years of strong Salesforce development experience.
• 4+ years developing within the Salesforce platform using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura, HTML5, and JavaScript.
• 5+ years working with Service Cloud and/or Health Cloud.
• 3+ years hands-on with Salesforce Lightning, including LWC.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on CRM development supporting crisis call workflows for the MICAL (Michigan Crisis Line), including coding and delivering user stories.
• Work with colleagues, customers, and end users to define technical requirements for new projects and future enhancements.
• Ensure technical requirements align with customer requirements and performance goals; maintain long-term strategy alignment.
• Take ownership of release cycles to implement and deploy updates to existing applications and code.
• Provide technical leadership for project environments and develop internal guidelines for the team.
• Collaborate with developers from other systems to enable cross-domain integration.
• Adhere to SOM security guidelines throughout the application lifecycle.
• Communicate strategic technical concepts at an executive level and contribute to decision-making.
• Devise a training plan for the development team for maintenance and operations.
• Maintain excellent written and verbal communication throughout the project.

As a Salesforce Developer, youll be comfortable with the development, design, and implement customizable solutions within Salesforce based upon CRM needs for the Michigan Enterprise Contact Center team at the Department of Technology, Management, and Budget. Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

• Ensures the proposed solutions adhere to SOM security guidelines and standards throughout the application lifecycle.
• Proven record of delivering business value by leveraging technology and an ability to communicate strategic technical concepts at an executive level and be a trusted voice at the decision-making table.
• Devise a training plan for the development team for a smooth and successful transition to Maintenance & Operations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
