Job summary

Six Flags Corp is seeking animal caregivers to oversee the care, cleanliness, and maintenance of all land animal areas and animals, both indoors and outdoors. This role involves daily duties across cleaning, feeding, education, and guest interaction.

Responsibilities include diet prep, records, show parts, and assisting with vaccinations, training, and outreach programs. Candidates must be able to lift 50 lbs and work weekends, holidays, and variable hours in a dynamic theme park setting.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Comfortable speaking in front of large crowds.
• Must be articulate and able to clearly speak, read, and write in English.
• Must have good vision and hearing with or without corrective device.
• Must be willing to listen and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must be willing and able to work 40 hours a week, indoors and outdoors, in all weather conditions.
• Must be available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Must possess the mental and physical capacities to perform primary responsibilities.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Maintain cleanliness of offices and locker rooms.
• Learn and perform show parts as assigned.
• Assist with educational programs and guest relations.
• Assist with animal care, feeding, and training sessions as assigned.
• Animals in collection can include reptiles, invertebrates, birds, domestics, small exotics, felines andlarge hoofstock.
• Other duties as requested.
