Job summary

A leading technology company is seeking an experienced SFDC Data Cloud Developer with Health Cloud expertise in Los Angeles. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of industry experience, including 5-7 years of hands-on Salesforce development, particularly with Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning. The role requires proficiency in Health Cloud implementations and knowledge of compliance standards like HIPAA and HL7. This is a long-term remote contract with an hourly rate based on experience.

Qualifications

• 10+ years total industry experience.
• 5+ years hands-on Salesforce development.
• Minimum 1 Health Cloud implementation project, each 6+ months.
• Strong knowledge of Health Cloud data models and compliance regulations.
• Experience with ETL tools and SOAP/REST services.
• Platform Developer 2 certification and 2 actual Lightning projects.
• Knowledge of Health Cloud data models, external objects, HIPAA/HL7/FHIR compliance.
• Architecture/design for EHR/EMR integrations; security models.
• SOAP/REST, Force.com web services, bulk API, metadata API.
• ETL tools, SQL/PL/SQL, stored procedures.
• Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, Triggers, SOQL, JavaScript, Eclipse IDE.

Responsibilities

• Develop Salesforce applications and integrations using Apex and Visualforce.
• Lead Health Cloud implementations and enterprise-scale integrations.
• Engage with Enterprise Architecture for Salesforce Data Modeling.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Certification and two Lightning projects; OmniStudio knowledge.

Minimum 6 months in a Health Cloud implementation, payer/insurance domain knowledge, enterprise‑scale integration experience, Experience Cloud implementation expertise, Apex/Visualforce and Lightning coding proficiency, Salesforce administration, configuration, reports and dashboards. Developer Certification (Platform Dev 2) and 2 actual Lightning projects required.

Overall Experience

• 10+ years total industry experience, 5+ years Salesforce coding (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning)
• Minimum 1 Health Cloud implementation project, each 6+ months
• Healthcare payer/insurance domain experience, omni‑studio, LWC, enterprise‑scale integrations
• Experience Cloud implementations, Apex/Visualforce, Lightning coding, Salesforce administration and customization, reports and dashboards
• Platform Developer 2 certification, 2 actual Lightning projects, OmniStudio knowledge
• Thorough Health Cloud data models, external objects, compliance (HIPAA, HL7, FHIR)
• Architecture/solution design for Health Cloud integration with EHR, EMR, utilization and care management platforms
• Strong Visualforce, Apex, Triggers, SOQL, Java‑script, Eclipse IDE, Lightning component/LWC development
• Engage Enterprise Architecture teams in Salesforce Data Modeling
• Proven problem‑solving skills, code best practices, deployment expertise (change‑set, ANT, bulk API, metadata API)
• Experience with ETL tools (Informatica, Boomi, Cast Iron, MuleSoft), SQL/PL/SQL, database schemas, stored procedures
• Experience with SOAP/REST services, Force.com web services, security models, API client architecture
