Job summary

SimpleClosure is building the future of how startups wind down, with a focus on partnerships and ecosystem engagement in San Francisco. You will own SimpleClosure's presence in the SF VC and accelerator community, managing platform teams, program managers, and partners who guide portfolio companies through transitions.

You will join the Partnerships team to source, deepen, and co-design events, building earned credibility in the market while supporting SF market end-to-end.

Qualifications

• Already embedded in the SF VC ecosystem with established relationships
• 3–5+ years in partnerships, BD, ecosystem, platform or community roles at a startup, financial services or VC
• Organized enough to run a real pipeline in CRM; not so transactional that you lose trust
• Strong communicator: warm in person, crisp in writing, responsive in Slack

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of VC fund and accelerator relationships from first outreach through activation and long‑term engagement
• Map the SF VC landscape and surface leads for referrals and program managers
• Build and maintain referral pipelines with VC funds, platform teams, accelerators, startup attorneys, and ecosystem connectors
• Track all relationship activity and pipeline in CRM to maintain an accurate view
• Own the handoff loop and ensure fast, smooth follow-ups with partners
