Job Summary

The Production Assembler is responsible for assembling assigned product parts according to production guidelines, using hand tools, power tools, and production machines. The role requires maintaining good housekeeping practices and adhering to company policies and safety rules. Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the supervisor.

Essential Functions

1. Ensure on-time clocking and reporting to the workstation.
2. Follow all departmental safety rules, including PPE and uniform compliance.
3. Assemble product parts per established standards and guidelines.
4. Read and understand work orders, ensuring all tools and materials are available.
5. Utilize Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
6. Meet production quotas while maintaining safety and quality standards.
7. Perform tasks using hand tools, power tools, and production machines.
8. Fasten parts to form subassemblies, maintaining good housekeeping and 5S standards.
9. Inspect and measure finished products against requirements.
10. Increase productivity and efficiency without compromising quality.
11. Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Knowledge Of

• Mechanical skills and use of hand/power tools.
• Quality and safety practices.

Ability To/Training Requirements

• Read and understand written assembly instructions.
• Understand Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
• Comply with ISO standards related to the position.

Equipment Used

• Small hand tools (pliers, screwdrivers, hammers, etc.)
• Small power tools (drills, rivet guns, heat guns, etc.)

Physical Demands and Working Conditions
