Job summary

Crisis Services in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Sexual Violence Prevention Coordinator to oversee NYSDOH-funded prevention strategies across Erie County. You will develop, implement, and evaluate programs, engage partners, and translate data into action.

The role requires a public health or related degree, 3+ years in health or program development, and experience in community engagement. This hybrid position offers competitive pay, paid training, generous PTO, and wellness supports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public health, social work, sociology, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in public health and/or program development.
• Two (2) years of experience in community engagement or violence prevention preferred.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Understanding of social determinants of health and social ecological model.

Responsibilities

• Foster collaboration with community partners and engage community members.
• Conduct outreach, gather and analyze data, and deliver prevention education.
• Manage program deliverables including reporting and attendance at NYSDOH meetings.
