United Felts, a Vortex Company, seeks a Sewing & Torch Operator to ensure materials meet customer requirements and QC standards. You will read sheets, assist in setups, monitor joints for defects, and maintain machines with proper RPM and oil levels.

Qualifications

• GED/High School Diploma or prior manufacturing experience.
• Satisfactorily complete 3 months on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

• Read construction and customer requirement sheets to meet specs.
• Assist co-workers in machine setups and material wrapping.
• Monitor joints for defects and adjust sewing as needed.
• Maintain machine settings, RPM, and oil checks.
• Keep a clean, safe work area and report shortages
