Job summary

Lanco is seeking a Sewing Operator to prepare machines, guide fabrics, and ensure quality in a production environment. You will inspect materials, monitor performance, and perform basic maintenance as needed to maintain efficiency and quality.

Qualifications

• HSD/GED required.
• 1–3 years sewing experience.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Basic math including fractions.
• Ability to recognize colors in normal spectrum.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sewing machines by changing needles, thread, and attaching components.
• Sew materials under the machine needle according to patterns and specs.
• Monitor machine operation and adjust settings for quality.
• Inspect materials for flaws before sewing.
• Check finished products against standards and specs.
• Complete preventative maintenance and report needed repairs.
• Follow safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
