Qualifications

• 1+ years of work experience with industrial sewing equipment.
• Basic knowledge of sewing principles and garment construction.
• Positive attitude and demonstrated ability to work well with a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated and organized.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment and to meet all deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Operate sewing machine (single, double, or multi-needle serger).
• Sew repairs to gear in accordance with company best practices.
• Prepare machine by changing needles and thread, and oiling and changing bobbin; mount attachments and adjust guides.
• Meet delivery deadlines by working with the team to ensure firefighter gear is repaired on time and to high quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping in sewing area.
• Other duties as needed.
• Works well with other production associates.
