Job summary

MillerKnoll in North Carolina seeks a Sewing Production Coordinator to help ensure a smooth flow of work from Cutting to Sewing. You will organize, stage, and deliver fabric, components, and production orders to sewing operators to meet schedules and quality goals.

You will monitor priorities, communicate material needs, and support safety and efficiency across departments. The role offers daily collaboration with Cutting, Sewing, Quality, and Production teams in a fast-paced manufacturing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or demonstrated performance competency.
• Basic math, attention to detail, and strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Move cut fabric, components, and work orders from Cutting to Sewing.
• Ensure correct materials and orders align with schedules.
• Organize and stage materials to minimize downtime.
• Verify materials before delivery.
• Monitor WIP and report shortages or issues.
• Support daily output and on-time delivery.
• Track materials and move them across the facility.
• Safely transport materials between departments.
• Maintain accurate production orders and location IDs.
• Follow inventory controls and keep work areas organized.
• Collaborate with Sewing, Cutting, Quality, and Production teams.
• Communicate production priorities and material needs.
• Assist cross-training and support other departments.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
